The heroick princes: or, the conscious lovers. Containing, I. A series of most surprising adventures of the magnanimous Prince Formidaur and Prince Florian. II. Formidaur falls in Love with Zelinda. III. Believes her to be his own Sister, and yet continues his Suit to her. IV. The Agonies Thro'love and Despair he is alternately thrown into upon that Account, and the Consequences of his Passion. V. Florian marries Fidalme, whom he supposes to be his Father's Daughter by a second Wife; was infinitely fond of her. VI. Kills her afterwards in Disguise in a Duel. Vii. The dreadful Misfortunes which followed his doing so. Viii. Several strange Accidents and extraordinary Events, which attended the Princes after this, not to be parallel'd in History. IX. By a sudden and amazing turn of fortune, both the princes master all difficulties, and become very happy at last. With eight curious copper-plates.

The Sad and mournful history of that amiable and loving couple William Rattling and Sweet Poll of Plymouth, With the humours of his friend Jack Oakum, containing among other particulars, Rattling's birth and genteel education, is bound to the sea, goes several voyages. Courts Sweet Poll of Plymouth. A song, in which is an invocation to love and the ocean. ... The adventures of Nancy Powell, who disguised herself in sailors clothes and went on board a man of war to seek her sweetheart. The humours of a quarrelsome couple.-Squinting Peg shews her airs and gets basted.-Her husband goes to sea for good reasons, and leaves her in the dumps. Peg hears that one of her 7 husbands is dead, goes on board to receive his wages, gets drunk with the sailors, falls into the sea and is drowned. Sweet Poll grows melancholy at not hearing from her husband, and being told of the engagement with De Graffe, and that her husband was killed, falls into extreme sorrow and dies of grief. Rattling comes home, finds his wife dead. His sorrowful behaviour and her funeral. The celebrated song of "Sweet Poll of Plymouth was my dear." Rattling enters on board the Royal George, is drowned with Admiral Kempenfelt, some account of that fatal accident, the diving Bell, &c. With many favorite new and old sea songs.

Louisa Wharton. A story founded on facts: written by herself, in a series of letters to a friend. Wherein is Displayed Some particular Circumstances which happened during the bloody Contest in America. I. Louisa's Father and Mother go to Bath; the Amusements of that Place described, &c. II. Some Account of Captain Truman and his Family; he falls in Love with Louisa; her Brother arrives from Philadelphia, and confirms the War having broke out. III. Captain Truman is ordered with his Regiment to America; Louisa is greatly alarmed, &c. IV. Truman takes Leave of Louisa with the greatest Tenderness; she gives him her Picture in Miniature; he gives her a Ring, and they vow mutual Constancy. V. Louisa's Father goes to London, from thence, with George his Son, sets out for Philadelphia. VI. A Letter from young Truman, full of tender expressions, &c. Vii. A Letter from her Brother, relates the Death of her Father, and the Confiscation of all their Property; they are greatly distressed; and Louisa is slighted by Sir James, &c. Viii. The History of Charlotte Modish, and Lord Squander. IX. Louisa and her Mother in a deplorable situation; she gets some Needle work to do, and is admired for her singing: Lord Squander tries to seduce her, &c. X. Fanny is very kind, but goes into the Country; Louisa hears the dismal News that Truman is taken by the Enemy, and condemned by way of Retaliation, &c. XI. A Letter from Fanny, gives an Account of an Uncle, who is very rich by Accident: he gives them Money, comes to Town, &c. XII. She hears that young Truman is released; he comes to England with her Brother; they all meet at the House of Louisa, and all Parties are made happy by Marriage.
